📣 Chiliz Exchange announcement on supporting the upcoming ETH merge and potential hard forked tokens

Dear Chilizens,

Ethereum’s merge upgrade is expected to take place in September 2022. The Chiliz Exchange plans to disable deposits and withdrawals of Ethereum (ETH) and Ethereum Network tokens (ERC-20 Tokens); a formal announcement will be issued in advance, prior to the merge.

In the event of a new chain fork/token, the exchange team will evaluate whether to support the distribution and withdrawal of the forked tokens if they meet our requirements. We will announce the timeline for such supported tokens if required in a separate announcement.
