Chiliz Exchange announcement on suspension of Ethereum (ETH) and ETH Token deposits & withdrawals

Dear Chilizens,

In order to support the Ethereum (ETH) upgrade; The Chiliz Exchange will suspend ETH  and ETH Network Token deposit & withdrawal services at 15:30 PM on September 14th, European Central Summer Time (CEST).

In case of a hard fork occurs and a new chain is created, the name for the Ethereum Proof of Work (PoW) mainnet and its forked tokens will be “ETHW”. 

If the ETHW chain persists, we will take a snapshot of all users who hold ETH in the wallet with all technical requirements involved, and credit the forked token (ETHW) to the eligible accounts at a ratio of 1:1. Further information on distribution would be communicated at a later date.

During the merge any ETH or ETH Token deposit will not be credited to your account.

After the merge is completed and the network is stabilized, we will re-initiate the deposit and withdrawal of ETH and Ethereum Network tokens. We will keep the users informed when the deposit/withdrawal is opened again.
