Important Update: Launching the Third Batch of Fan Tokens on the Chiliz Chain

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of the third batch of Fan Tokens on the Chiliz Chain! This latest addition includes $APL, $ATLAS, $GFK, $RSO, $SACI, $SEVILLA, $UCH, $VASCO, and $VERDAO. These Fan Tokens are now fully supported on ChilizX, bringing more options to our community.

Changes to Deposit and Withdrawal Fees

As we transition to the Chiliz Chain, the deposit and withdrawal fees will remain the same as announced for the first batch. These minimal gas fees are essential to support the maintenance and growth of the Chiliz Chain.

If you own Fan Tokens from the new batch, you can utilize the conversion feature to convert these tokens to CHZ to facilitate the withdrawal service, should you need more CHZ in your wallet for the transaction fees.

Chiliz Chain Vs. Chiliz Legacy Chain

Simply put, the Chiliz Chain is the successor of the Chiliz Legacy Chain. The Chiliz Chain provides a more robust and open blockchain experience with features like on-chain governance via staking. It is EVM compatible, supports Ethereum tooling, and boasts faster finality and more reasonable transaction fees. The Chiliz Chain is also more open, allowing third-party developers and companies to deploy dApps, which was impossible on the Chiliz Legacy Chain.

Deprecating the Chiliz Legacy Chain Withdrawal

While we're migrating to the new Chiliz Chain, the Chiliz Legacy Chain will remain operational. We understand this is a significant change, and we will ensure to communicate any changes regarding the support of the Legacy Chain in advance.

Please remember that we plan to deprecate the Chiliz Legacy Chain withdrawal functionality of certain Fan Tokens over time. Fan Tokens that we fully manage and only available on ChilizX and Socios will be the first to be closed off from the Chiliz Legacy Chain. We will announce the specific dates in advance.

Transacting on the incorrect chain could result in losing your assets, and recovery may not be possible. Therefore, always ensure you are on the correct chain when depositing or withdrawing Fan Tokens.
