Important Update: Releasing the next batch of Fan Tokens on Chiliz Chain

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of the next batch of Fan Tokens on the Chiliz Chain! This latest addition includes $ACM, $AFC, $ALA, $ALL, $AM, $ARG, $ASM, $ASR, $ATM, $AVL, $BAR, $BFC, $CAI, $CPFC, and $DZG. These Fan Tokens are now fully supported on ChilizX, bringing even more options to our diverse and vibrant community.

Changes to Deposit and Withdrawal Fees

As we transition to the Chiliz Chain, the deposit and withdrawal fees will remain the same as announced for the first batch. These minimal gas fees are essential to support the maintenance and growth of the Chiliz Chain.

If you own Fan Tokens from the new batch, you can utilize the conversion feature to convert these tokens to CHZ to facilitate the withdrawal service, should you need more CHZ in your wallet for transaction fees.

Chiliz Chain Vs. Chiliz Legacy Chain

The Chiliz Chain is an advanced version of the Chiliz Legacy Chain. It is designed to offer a more robust and transparent blockchain experience that incorporates features like on-chain governance via staking. The Chiliz Chain is EVM-compatible, which means that it supports Ethereum tooling and provides faster finality and more reasonable transaction fees. Additionally, it is more open, allowing third-party developers and companies to deploy dApps which was not possible on the Chiliz Legacy Chain.

Deprecating the Chiliz Legacy Chain Withdrawal

While we are in the migration phase to the new Chiliz Chain, the Chiliz Legacy Chain will remain operational. We understand this is a significant change, and we will make sure to communicate any changes regarding the support of the Legacy Chain in advance.

Please note that we plan to deprecate the Chiliz Legacy Chain withdrawal functionality for certain Fan Tokens over time. Fan Tokens that are fully managed and available only on ChilizX and Socios will be the first to be closed off from the Chiliz Legacy Chain. We will announce specific dates in advance.

It is crucial to ensure that you are transacting on the correct chain when depositing or withdrawing Fan Tokens to prevent the loss of your assets, which may not be recoverable.
