How do I set up 2FA / Google Authenticator

Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security process in which the user provides two different authentication factors to verify themselves to better protect both the user's credentials and the resources. 2FA includes Email Verification, Phone Verification and Google Authentication.

After binding 2FA, signing into your account or withdrawal will require your password, verification codes and/or 6 digits generated code from Google Authenticator App (GA).

When signed up with Email, you can only bind Phone and Google Authentication (shown below). Vice versa if signed up with a phone, you can only bind Email and Google Authentication.

In order to Bind your GA or Phone; Please follow these steps.

Log in to your ChilizX account by clicking here
Once you're logged in, click on your profile icon located on the top right corner of the page.
From the dropdown menu, select "User Center".
In the "User Center" page, click on the "Security" tab.
Under the Security Tab; you can find Google Authenticator & SMS Authenticator.

If you selected Google Authenticator, download and install the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Open the Google Authenticator app, and click on the "+" sign to add a new account.
Select "Scan a QR Code" or "Manual Entry" and scan the QR code displayed on the ChilizX page or enter the code manually.
Enter the code generated by the Google Authenticator app in the "Google Authenticator Code" field on the ChilizX page, and click on "Verify Code".
If you selected SMS, enter your mobile phone number in the "Phone Number" field and click on "Send Verification Code".
Enter the verification code that you receive via SMS in the "Verification Code" field, and click on "Verify Code".
After verifying your Google Authenticator or SMS code, click on "Save" to enable two-factor authentication on your account.

Congratulations! You have now bound Google Authenticator or SMS to your ChilizX account, adding an extra layer of security to your account.
