  1. What is happening to ChilizX? / Why is ChilizX is closing down?

In June we announced the Dragon8 hard fork, marking a new era for Chiliz Chain with substantial technological enhancements and sophisticated new tokenomics.

Dragon8 also promotes a sustainable and decentralized network, a focal point of which is the strategic and planned closure of the ChilizX exchange, alongside the introduction of community-owned decentralized exchanges (DEXs) that will create deeper organic liquidity for Fan Tokens™.

The first such DEX is Kayen,  ahead of many more options that will provide greater liquidity, activity, utility and engagement for Fan Tokens™. 

Trading is open on ChilizX until 09/10/2024 at 10:00 UTC. Withdrawals are open until 22/11/2024. Please withdraw any remaining funds from the platform before this date. Funds still held on this platform after the aforementioned date will be completely secure, but you will need to contact support.ChilizX@chiliz.com to arrange the return of your funds.


  1. Can I still deposit funds into my ChilizX account?

No, we have disabled all deposits as of 26/09/2024. Please proceed to withdraw any existing funds. If you send any deposits after this date, they will be unrecoverable and permanently lost, and we will not be held liable for any loss or damage sustained as a consequence thereof.


  1. Till when will I be able to trade on ChilizX? Till when I can withdraw?

Trading is open until 09/10/2024 at 10:00 UTC. Please finalize all trades before this date.

Withdrawals are open until 22/11/2024. Please withdraw any remaining funds from the platform before this date. Funds still held on this platform after the aforementioned date will be completely secure, but you will need to contact support.ChilizX@chiliz.com to arrange the return of your funds.


  1. How can I withdraw my funds from ChilizX?

You can withdraw your funds by logging into your ChilizX account and following the withdrawal process and withdrawing to compatible third party wallets. Please ensure your withdrawal request is completed before 22/11/2024.

Funds still held on this platform after the aforementioned date will be completely secure, but you will need to contact support.ChilizX@chiliz.com to arrange the return of your funds.


  1. What happens if I don't withdraw my funds before the deadline?

If you do not withdraw your funds before the deadline, your funds will be safe. You will need to contact our customer support team to arrange the return of your funds at support.ChilizX@chiliz.com.


  1. Will I need to undergo any verification to withdraw my funds?

Some users may be required to complete a KYC process. This is to ensure that assets are secure and to make sure compliance is upheld during the withdrawal process.


  1. Will there be any fees for withdrawing my funds?

There will be no additional fees for withdrawing your funds during this closure period. However, standard blockchain network fees may apply.


  1. I have an open order. What will happen to it?

All open orders will be automatically canceled on 09/10/2024 at 10:00 UTC. Please ensure you withdraw your funds by the deadline.


  1. What will happen to my account data?

All account data will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy. You can review our privacy policy at https://chilizx.helpscoutdocs.com/article/76-terms for more information.


  1. How long will it take to process my withdrawal request?

Withdrawal requests are typically processed within 15/20 Minutes. However, due to the high volume of requests during this period, there may be some delays.
